Ingredients
4 oz soft cream cheese
2 oz soft butter
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon juice
1oz Connecticut maple syrup
Directions
Combine the soft cream cheese and soft butter with the powdered sugar in a small bowl with a fork or wooden spoon. Add the lemon juice, vanilla extract, and Connecticut maple syrup. Mix until smooth. Store in a sandwich bag for use on French Toast (see Campfire Cranberry Pecan French Toast recipe). To best serve the frosting, cut the corner off of the frosting filled sandwich bag and squeeze out over the slices of bread.
